Down at Unawatuna, the bay’s perfect for snorkelling. Head to Tangalle and things get wilder- big rocks, empty stretches of sand and sea turtles nesting at night.
Walking through history
Galle Fort is where old Dutch architecture meets modern island life. Walk the ramparts at sunset and watch the sky work its magic- every shade of orange and pink you can imagine. The cobblestone streets wind past art galleries and courtyards that smell like exotic spices.

Here’s the thing about southern Sri Lanka. The beaches are absolutely gorgeous, sure.
